Customer Service Clerk – Posted July 5, 2017

The South Central Transit Authority is seeking a motivated, self-starting individual for the position of Full-Time Customer Service Clerk for its Red Rose Transit Authority, Queen Street Station location.  The qualified candidate must be able to deal effectively with the public both in person and on the telephone in a professional manner.  The position requires excellent computer skills, telephone etiquette, and bi-lingual communication skills are required (Spanish/English). The position will work a total of 37.5 hours a week (9:15am-5:45pm). SCTA offers competitive salary and excellent benefit package.

South Central Transit Authority (SCTA) is seeking a part-time dispatcher for its Reading office (Berks Area Regional Transportation Authority – BARTA).  SCTA is seeking a reliable part-time dispatcher to provide assistance and supervision to bus drivers and customers in support of BARTA’s daily transit operations. Approx. 15-20 hours a week.  Must demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills and also have a working knowledge of Berks County.  Computer skills and two-way radio communications experience a plus.
