MOBILE TICKETING FARE COLLECTION SOFTWARE

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

SOUTH CENTRAL TRANSIT AUTHORITY

INVITATION TO BID

LEASE OF TRANSIT VEHICLE TIRES

Notice is hereby given that the South Central Transit Authority will receive sealed bids at the office of the Executive Director, 45 Erick Road, Lancaster, PA  17601, until 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 29, 2021 for the lease of transit vehicle tires for its Lancaster and Reading fixed route bus operations.

The contract shall be for a two (2) year base agreement, commencing July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2023, with three (3) one-year options, each option year being subject to an annual renewal.

All bids and contracts are subject to all applicable state and federal laws and to a financial assistance contract between the South Central Transit Authority and the US Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration, and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

ARCHITECTURAL, ENGINEERING AND PLANNING SERVICES

SHARED-RIDE OPERATIONS FACILITY

The South Central Transit Authority (SCTA) is seeking written proposals for planning, architectural, engineering and related services required for the construction of a new Shared Ride Operations Center to be located in Lancaster County, PA.  The design, engineering and planning services required for a new facility are expected to involve six tasks:

  1. Alternative Site Analysis
  2. Preliminary Design Development
  3. Final Design Development
  4. Bidding Documents Preparation
  5. Contract Procurement
  6. Construction Services Phase and Construction Documentation

BUS SHELTER INSTALLATION SERVICES

 Notice is hereby given that the South Central Transit Authority (SCTA) is seeking sealed bids from qualified firms to provide for the installation of bus shelters in its service area located in the City of Reading and the surrounding areas in Berks County, PA and located in the City of Lancaster and the surrounding areas in Lancaster County, PA.  The contract with SCTA will include a base period of one (1) year with an option for two (2) one-year extensions for a total term of three (3) years.  To receive a copy of the proposal documents, or for more information, contact Jeffrey Glisson, Director of Capital Projects and Planning, at (717) 358-1928 or jglisson@sctapa.com.
