Managing BARTA & RRTA public transit services in Berks County & Lancaster County, Pennsylvania
ATAC is Seeking New Members
On behalf of The Lancaster County Active Transportation Advisory Committee (ATAC).
The Lancaster County Active Transportation Advisory Committee (ATAC) is looking for new members.
ATAC informs the Lancaster County Metropolitan Planning Organization (Lancaster MPO). The Lancaster MPO is a coalition between governments and local partners with an interest in transportation. ATAC is an advisory committee on transportation plans, programs, and projects brought before the Lancaster MPO as part of the federal transportation planning process. It was established to provide guidance to the Lancaster MPO on issues related to non-motorized modes of transportation (walking, biking, wheeling) and oversee implementation of the Lancaster Active Transportation Plan (ATP).
ATAC is not a policy-making body or local advocacy group. It is an advisory group comprised of Lancaster County residents that bike, walk, wheel, and ride transit. Members use their personal and professional experiences to provide feedback and offer recommendations.
If you are interested in joining ATAC, please visit https://www.lancompo.org/atac and complete the form at the bottom of the page. If you have any questions, please contact Kristiana Barr at kbarr@lancstercountypa.gov or (717) 299-8339.
The search for members will be open until Monday, October 23, 2023.
